The beauty of the bar is its flexibility when it comes to decor, ambience, opening hours and the food and drink available. It is possible to cater to both day and nighttime clientele in a completely different atmosphere, or to focus on one group. Although the name suggests alcoholic drinks, coffee bars are also popular.
